Abstract
Volume One is a literature review aimed to explore the effectiveness of interventions for family members affected by a relative’s addiction problem, namely; substance misuse and gambling. Several databases were systematically searched and seventeen papers included. Several core themes arose from the literature; methodological quality, theoretical understanding, intervention characteristics, population differences, and outcome for participants and the findings are explained.
