Abstract

The first chapter is a review of the literature studying the relationship between maternal-foetal attachment and postnatal infant outcomes. The second chapter is a qualitative study exploring first-time parents' experiences of becoming a parent and the relationship with their baby. The final chapter is a public domain briefing document, providing an accessible summary of the literature review and empirical paper.
