Abstract
Volume One consists of three parts. The first is a systematic literature review of non-pharmacological treatment for individuals with intellectual disabilities and ‘personality disorder’. The second part presents an empirical study where women with intellectual disabilities and offending behaviour were interviewed to explore their housing experiences and their hopes for future home and care environments. Interpretive phenomenological analysis was utilised to explore their experiences in detail. The final part is a public domain briefing document, offering an accessible summary of the empirical study and systematic review.
