Abstract
Volume 1, the research component, includes a literature review examining the efficacy of interventions for parents of children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in relation to parent outcomes; an empirical paper, which presents findings of a quantitative study exploring parental illness perceptions, coping, wellbeing, parenting stress and parent perceptions of the child-parent relationship in parents of a child with pathological demand avoidance syndrome (PDA) and a public dissemination document.
