Abstract
Volume One consists of three chapters. The first chapter is a systematic literature review of research on social activity and community integration following traumatic brain injury. The second chapter is a qualitative empirical paper looking at the experiences of friendships of those persons with brain injuries, both pre-and post-injury. The final chapter is a public domain document. This is a summary that has been written with the purpose of sharing the findings of the empirical paper with the services involved in the recruitment of participants.
