Abstract
This thesis comprises three chapters. The first chapter is a systematic literature review and meta-analysis exploring the prevalence of depression and suicidal ideation in people with Multiple Sclerosis. The second chapter is an empirical study exploring the experience of shared medical decision making in people with MS. The third chapter is a public domain briefing document providing an accessible summary of both the meta-analysis and empirical paper.
