The play is a personal exploration of the themes of alcoholism and its effects on a family. The style of the play is that of a dark comedy, the humour stems from bathos and trying to overcome a dark situation through use of humour. A reflective essay accompanies the play. The essay sheds some light on the previously mentioned themes, but its main focus is a discussion of theatrical techniques used within The Corrigan Brothers and my own theatrical style.
